Support Our Community Through Illness & Crisis

Message to sponsors

The annual Jennifer Levin Kaplan Purim Party has brought lots of smiles, joy and happy memories to children and families battling serious illness.

Chai Lifeline strives to find ways to bring joy to the lives of seriously ill children through creative, innovative, and effective family-centered programs, activities, and services, providing unparalleled support throughout the child’s illness, recovery, and beyond by offering all services free of charge to ensure that every family has access to the programs it needs, with compassion, kindness and caring.

We are pleased to say that the Jennifer Levin Kaplan Purim Party has been a wonderful representation of Jenny’s zest for life. The children and their families have enjoyed engaging in fun activities, fantastic prizes, joyous music, and all-around good times.

Supporting Local Families When It Matters Most

When a child or parent faces serious illness, a sudden loss or crisis, everything changes.

Hospital rooms replace playgrounds and family rooms. Routines vanish. Fear and uncertainty become part of daily life.

Chai Lifeline Midwest steps in with something powerful. A way forward.

Based in Chicago and serving families across 12 states, we provide comprehensive emotional, social, and financial support to children and families facing serious illness. Through more than a dozen year-round programs and services, all provided at no cost, we help families cope with the long-term realities of illness while bringing moments of joy, connection, and hope back into view.

The need is greater than ever. Today, more families than before are turning to Chai Lifeline Midwest, and that demand continues to grow. As our community expands, we are continuing to adapt, strengthening, and expanding our services to meet the challenges families are facing across Chicago and throughout the Midwest.

Your gift during our July 7-9 $750,000 matching campaign does not just double.

It helps ensure that every family facing illness has the support, care, and hope they need to keep going.
