Chai Lifeline has been our anchor through the most difficult chapter of our lives. Just a few weeks after being diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer, I was rushed into treatment -- a world we knew nothing about. In an instant, life changed. I endured over a year of chemotherapy and multiple surgeries, all while trying to hold it together, which often felt impossible. From emergency hospital stays to the daily toll of treatment, Chai Lifeline was always there making sure we had warm, nourishing meals when I couldn't get out of bed, checking in on my husband, and wrapping my daughter in care, love, and thoughtful gifts. Those gifts became the special surprises we gave her before I went into chemo each week -- something bright to hold onto during a dark time. Chai Lifeline showed up for us, again and again, in ways both big and small. I'm fundraising because no family should go through illness alone - and thanks to Chai Lifeline, we never did.
