It means a lot to me to be part of this tournament and to raise money for Chai Lifeline, an organization that brings so much care and support to families who need it most. There is something really beautiful about coming together in this way to help families facing difficult challenges.
This is especially close to my heart because of Feigy. I was lucky to know her as a friend, to play basketball with her, and to spend that extra time together on the rides to and from the games. She was a wonderful, hardworking, and deeply supportive mother, and I always admired her. Basketball was something we shared, and because of that, playing in her memory feels especially meaningful to me.
To honor Feigy in this way, while also helping families through Chai Lifeline, feels incredibly special.
